After the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol failed to be voted on in the National Assembly due to the absence of People Power Party lawmakers, angry citizens began pressuring ruling party members in various ways. A website listing all absentees and a program that can send protest messages have even emerged.

On the 9th, an online community posted an article titled "Trying to develop a site to expose accomplices of the national rebellion." The author stated that they personally created an internet site called 'Naeran24' and posted personal information of People Power Party lawmakers who did not attend the vote.

When accessing the site, a title reads "December 7, 2024, People Power Party Impeachment Absentee List," displaying the constituency information of 105 People Power Party lawmakers who missed the impeachment vote, along with their facial photos. The author explained the reason for creating the site, saying, "I am very angry that some People Power Party lawmakers say this incident will be forgotten in a year," and "I made the site so that the constituents will never forget the martial law situation."

A program that sends group text messages to ruling party lawmakers is also being shared online. It is a program that sends messages to People Power Party lawmakers asking them to vote in favor during the upcoming impeachment motion voting process. The program even includes a text conversion feature to avoid the sent messages being classified as spam.

Some signs of escalation have also appeared. On the morning of the 8th, a placard with the words "Support Impeachment" and a weapon were found at the front door of People Power Party lawmaker Kim Jae-seop's residence in Seoul, prompting the police to take protective measures for Kim. At Kim's constituency office in Dobong-gu, Seoul, some citizens threw eggs and placed condolence wreaths in front of the door.
