In this training program, 10 public officials working in fisheries-related fields from three Asian countries?Vietnam, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka?participated. They completed all courses including theoretical lectures and laboratory practice on Korea's advanced fisheries technology and policies, as well as visits and field studies at seafood processing companies, aquaculture farms, and fisheries-related institutions, and graduated on this day.

This training program, part of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' Official Development Assistance (ODA) project for fisheries, was designed to provide various fisheries education and training courses to public officials in developing countries, supporting the establishment of a foundation for fisheries industry development in those countries.

The Overseas Fisheries Cooperation Center of Pukyong National University has been operating various training programs in the fisheries and marine fields for developing countries since 2007, with support from the UN FAO and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
