The healing town of Yangpyeong-gun, the pristine Danwol-myeon, has become even more beautiful with the installation of landscape lighting.
Danwol-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 10th that it completed the installation of landscape lighting at Deoksu Park and Deoksu Intersection on the 9th, illuminating the dark streets and making the winter season much warmer.
This installation is the first landscape facility installed in Danwol-myeon, receiving great responses from residents and visitors who had found it difficult to feel the year-end atmosphere until now.
The landscape lighting at Deoksu Park highlights representative landscaping features of Danwol-myeon, such as pine trees and windmills, making their beauty stand out clearly even on dark nights. The tree-shaped structure at Deoksu Intersection brightly illuminates the December year-end atmosphere, which was hard to experience on Danwol streets.
Jeong Hee-cheol, the head of Danwol-myeon, said, “I feel great joy in being able to provide the residents of Danwol-myeon with even a small sense of the year-end and New Year atmosphere.” He added, “Next year, we will do our best to proceed smoothly with planned projects such as the installation of landscape lighting along walking trails to create a more beautiful and happy Danwol-myeon where people want to live.”
