Kim Dong-yeon: "Immediate Arrest of Coup Suspect Yoon Seok-yeol... Warrant Can Be Requested Within 48 Hours"

Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, demanded the immediate arrest of President Yoon Seok-yeol, stating that a warrant could be requested within 48 hours.

On the 10th, Governor Kim emphasized in a post on his social media service (SNS), "We must arrest the coup d'?tat perpetrator Yoon Seok-yeol immediately."

He particularly added, "The entire nation clearly witnessed the crime scene of the perpetrator (through TV, etc.)," and "There is an abundance of evidence and testimony."

He then said, "The criminal charges have been perfectly proven," and "A perpetrator can be urgently arrested without a warrant."

He continued, "(Now is) not the time for investigative agencies to quarrel," and stated, "It is a matter of 'immediate arrest' and requesting a warrant within 48 hours."

Furthermore, he asserted, "We must not allow the coup d'?tat perpetrator to exercise military command authority," and "Arrest and impeachment must proceed simultaneously. Immediate arrest! Immediate impeachment!"
