Titleist Golf Balls, Overwhelmingly 'Number 1' for 76 Years

On the 10th, it was announced that nearly 70% of players in major professional golf tours worldwide, including the United States and Korea, used Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls this year. The winning rate is also ranked first at 63%. Since first claiming the top spot at the 1949 US Open on the PGA Tour, it has remained the leader in the golf ball category to this day. This is an overwhelming figure more than six times higher than the second most used brand (10.9%).

On the PGA Tour, 70% of players chose Titleist golf balls, and on the LPGA Tour, the figure reached 75%. On the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour, 68% of players used Titleist golf balls. Among players on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, 67% used Titleist golf balls during competitions.

Jang Yu-bin from the KPGA Tour and Yoon In-na from the KLPGA Tour swept the prize money title, the grand prize, and the lowest score award using Titleist golf balls. On the KPGA Tour, seven out of the top 10 Genesis points leaders, including Kim Min-gyu, Heo In-hoe, Lee Jeong-hwan, Ok Tae-hoon, Kang Kyung-nam, and Kim Han-byeol, achieved good results with Titleist golf balls. On the KLPGA Tour, eight out of the top 10 players in the prize money rankings, including Park Hyun-kyung, Park Ji-young, Kim Su-ji, Ma Da-som, Noh Seung-hee, Bae So-hyun, and Bang Shin-sil, used Titleist golf balls.

Jang Yu-bin praised, "I have been using Titleist golf balls since the 5th grade of elementary school. When I make a pitch shot, the spin control is excellent, and the ball stops right after one bounce, which feels great." Titleist never stops its new challenges and innovations to provide the best performance. Leading the way with the Pro V1 series, which will be reborn with a new look early next year, it will introduce even more evolved products and services.
