According to the media, a couple having sex on the plane was captured by a cockpit security camera. The camera is known to only display live footage and cannot record video. It was confirmed that a flight attendant recorded the video using their mobile device and then leaked it.

As the video spread, the airline launched an investigation into the 'privacy violation.' The airline's lawyer told the British media outlet Daily Mail, "Filming and transmitting recordings of people without clear consent goes against our guidelines and values and violates regulations." He added, "(The flight attendant) should have intervened directly (to stop the sexual act) instead of recording the video."

The airline stated, "We plan to discipline the employee who recorded and leaked the video," while also criticizing the couple's behavior, saying, "Such acts (sexual activity) on the plane are unacceptable."

Netizens who saw the report reacted with comments such as, "They're not animals, so why do such things on a plane?" "Humans should know how to control themselves," "The flight attendant who recorded it is ridiculous too," "I wonder which country they are from," "They should have just held back a little," "Are the couple not going to be punished?" "Please stop public displays of affection," "It must have felt like a moment from a movie to them," and "Truly disgusting."
