K-Bank Launches 'Jeonse Anshim Service'

K-Bank Launches 'Jeonse Anshim Service'

K Bank announced on the 10th that it has launched the 'Jeonse Safety Service,' which allows users to check essential information before signing a Jeonse contract through the app.

Anyone can simply enter the address to instantly view key information based on the official registry, and K Bank covers the related costs, making the service free to use. This strengthens tenant protection further following the 'Our Home Change Alert' service launched in 2022.

The 'Jeonse Safety Service' is a feature in the K Bank app that enables easy verification of cautionary elements on the official registry for apartments, officetels, and multi-family houses. Users can quickly check for any special issues that need to be confirmed before signing a Jeonse contract, such as provisional seizure, seizure, auction, public sale, leasehold registration, mortgage registration, and trust real estate status.

In addition to the official registry details, users can also access past deposit-related dispute history for the address, as well as information on eligibility for Jeonse loans and HF (Korea Housing Finance Corporation) Jeonse Keeper Guarantee, making it a useful reference before signing a Jeonse contract.

The usage is simple. In the K Bank app, under the newly added 'Real Estate' category, users can enter the address of the house they want to check in the 'Jeonse Safety Service' section. K Bank covers the cost of viewing the official registry, and anyone can use the service for free up to five times per month.

Along with the launch of the 'Jeonse Safety Service,' K Bank has placed the existing 'Our Home Change Alert' service in the Real Estate category.

'Our Home Change Alert' is a service first introduced in the financial sector in October 2022 to protect Jeonse contract holders. When users input their Jeonse-contracted apartment information into the K Bank app, they receive push notifications if there are any registry changes that may indicate risks such as Jeonse fraud. By checking the alert and accessing the K Bank app, users can view detailed official registry information.

Over the past two years since its launch, the service has notified customers of 398 registry changes, including mortgage registrations and provisional seizures, which have a high potential to infringe on Jeonse deposit rights.

K Bank plans to continue adding various features in the Real Estate category to enable customers to proceed with Jeonse contracts and loans with confidence.

A K Bank representative said, "We are committed to making essential information that Jeonse contract holders need to know transparent and easy to check," adding, "We will continue to enhance our total safety service so that users can safely navigate every step of the Jeonse process?from searching and contracting to loans, moving in, and daily life afterward."
