Dobong-gu Appoints Singer Park Sang-min as Dobong-gu Ambassador on the 9th

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) has appointed singer Park Sang-min as the promotional ambassador of Dobong-gu.
On December 9th, the district held an appointment ceremony for the Dobong-gu promotional ambassador at the Dobong-gu Mayor's office. On this day, Mayor Oh Eon-seok presented the appointment letter to singer Park Sang-min and asked him to take the lead in raising the status of Dobong-gu.
In response, singer Park Sang-min expressed his ambition, saying, "I am very honored to serve as the promotional ambassador of Dobong-gu. I want to contribute to the development of the region by letting many people know the charm of Dobong-gu."
Going forward, singer Park Sang-min will serve as the promotional ambassador of Dobong-gu for two years, widely promoting the beauty and uniqueness of Dobong-gu and taking the lead in promoting major district policies.
Singer Park Sang-min debuted in 1993 with his first album Start and has won the love of the public by releasing numerous hit songs such as "Sunflower," "The Person Who Drifted Away," "Farewell, My Weapon," and "Jeans Lady." He is also known as a leading donation angel in the entertainment industry and has served as a promotional ambassador for the Salvation Army and Community Chest of Korea.
Singer Park Sang-min has a deep connection with Dobong-gu. He has communicated with the residents by performing congratulatory performances at various Dobong-gu festivals such as the "2022 Uicheon Lantern Festival," the "2023 Uicheon Cherry Blossom Festival," and the "2024 Autumn Beer Dobongsan Old Road Festival."
