It is a 2012 GMC Yukon SUV. This car has been driven for a whopping 300,000 km over 12 years since 2012. Scheffler's father used it before passing it down. When Scheffler was a junior golf player, his father drove him around the United States in this car. After Scheffler graduated from college, his father handed the car over to him.

Scheffler drove this car while playing on the PGA Tour's Korn Ferry (second-tier) Tour. When Scheffler won the Masters for the first time in 2022, his entire family traveled from Augusta, Georgia to Dallas, Texas in this car. Although Scheffler has been named PGA Tour Player of the Year for three consecutive years and earned substantial money, he continued to drive this old car that is not a luxury brand and over 10 years old.

Especially when going between home, golf courses, gym, and his favorite restaurants, he unfailingly drove this car. When asked why he kept driving this old car despite having enough money to buy any luxury vehicle, he replied, "I don't see why I should change cars. This car runs well." Scheffler is known for his modest and frugal lifestyle.

Scheffler finally decided to part with his beloved GMC Yukon SUV after his son Bennett was born in May. He judged that the old car was too worn to carry a newborn and that the GMC Yukon SUV lacked sufficient safety and convenience features.

Scheffler’s used car will be auctioned for the charity Triumph Over Kid Cancer. The auction will be held by Heritage Auction. The starting bid is $50,000 (about 70 million KRW). This was the price paid last month by golf broadcaster Jim Nantz at a fundraising event. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the charity.
