The Seosan Cultural Welfare Center in Chungnam won the top prize in the Vulnerable Area Networking Support Project at the "2024 Excellent Youth Activity Performance Sharing Event" hosted by the Korea Youth Activity Promotion Agency on the 5th.
This award was the result of the Seosan Cultural Welfare Center and Seosan Jungang High School conducting PBL classes linked to the school curriculum, as well as operating programs related to national heritage for about eight months, including participation in the Haemieupseong Festival utilizing local community resources.
Lee Changseok, Director of the Seosan Cultural Welfare Center, said, "I hope this award will serve as an opportunity to further activate collaborative activities between youth training facilities and schools in our Seosan region."
Meanwhile, regarding the first quarter programs for 2025, the Seosan Cultural Welfare Center plans to accept applications at the Children's Library on the 18th, the Women's Center on the 19th and 20th, and the Youth Training Center from the 21st to the 23rd.
