‘Buddy Queen’ No Seung-hee... ‘Eagle Queen’ Yoo Hyun-jo No Seung-hee

On the 9th, the KLPGA Tour announced, "No Seung-hee made 344 birdies this year, making her the player with the most birdies." The secret to No Seung-hee becoming the 'Birdie Queen' is her ironclad stamina, having participated in all 31 tournaments. Although she ranked 16th with an average of 3.44 birdies per round, she played in all 31 tournaments held this year and missed the cut only once.

No Seung-hee played an impressive 100 rounds. She is the only player to have exceeded 100 rounds on the KLPGA Tour this year. The 344 birdies she made surpass last year's 'Birdie Queen' Lim Jin-hee's 332 by 12. Lim Jin-hee played 95 rounds last year.

Yoo Yi-na recorded the highest average birdies per round, making 4.0526 birdies each round. It has been six years since a player on the KLPGA Tour averaged over 4 birdies per round, last achieved by Oh Ji-hyun (4.14449) and Choi Hye-jin (4) in 2018. However, Yoo Yi-na participated in 25 tournaments and played only 76 rounds, making a total of 308 birdies, which was far less than No Seung-hee.

Rookie of the Year Yoo Hyun-jo led in eagles with six. Among these six eagles, five were made on par-5 holes by reaching the green in two shots and then sinking the putt in one. Lee Jung-min enjoyed the luck of two hole-in-ones this season alone. During the 46th KLPGA Championship sponsored by Chris F&C, she made a hole-in-one on the 17th hole (par 3) in the third round. She drove away in a luxury car worth 76 million won and went on to win the tournament.
