Six days after President Yoon Seok-yeol's 'December 3 Emergency Martial Law Incident,' voices encouraging attendance at rallies and comforting the public continue in the entertainment industry.

On the 9th, Yonhap News reported that broadcaster and comedian Park Myung-soo, while hosting KBS CoolFM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show,' said, "Wasn't it hard watching only the news all weekend?" and added, "I hope the situation is resolved quickly so that the people are not depressed but happy."

During the large-scale candlelight rally held in Yeouido last weekend, several celebrities either attended the rally in person or showed support for the participants. Singer Jung Se-woon gifted 100 hot pack gifticons on his official fan cafe the day before, saying, "Everyone, don't catch a cold. I hope the hands waving the Haengbong (Jung Se-woon’s light stick) never freeze, no matter where or when," encouraging his fans.

Actor Oh Jin-seok, who appeared in the Netflix drama 'Mask Girl,' also posted on X (formerly Twitter) on the 7th, saying, "Have a warm drink and rest," while gifting convenience store gift certificates to fans who attended the rally with him. On the same day, actor Lee Dong-wook shared the lyrics of Scorpions' iconic song 'Wind of Change' on the fan communication platform Bubble, saying, "Spring will surely come." He also told those attending the rally, "Let's stay strong, dress warmly because it's cold." Actress Park Bo-young left a message on Bubble saying, "It's cold, so you have to bundle up tightly. I hope warm spring comes soon."

Lee Chae-yeon, a singer formerly of the group IZ*ONE, wrote on the fan communication platform From on the 7th, "You say this is not a place to talk about politics? Then what kind of place is it where you can talk about politics?" She continued, "As a citizen and a member of the public, I will speak as I see fit. I speak out because I am a celebrity. Thank you for your concern," adding, "Let's live in a better world. Let's love freely in such a world."

Singer-songwriter Lee Seung-yoon also expressed anger on the same day at President Yoon’s public address regarding martial law. Lee Seung-yoon said, "I really tried not to add more words," but raised his voice, saying, "As an ordinary citizen who was suddenly hit with martial law while living quietly, I think it’s only fair to say that the statement was extremely uncomfortable to hear."

Meanwhile, on the 7th, 2,518 film industry professionals including Bong Joon-ho, Byun Young-joo, and Moon So-ri, along with 77 film organizations, issued an urgent statement demanding President Yoon’s dismissal and arrest.
