Guri Mayor Baek Gyeong-hyeon Visits Fire Station, Military Unit, and Armed Forces Hospital to Commend Their Efforts

Encouraging Field Workers Dedicated to Establishing Regional Security and Citizen Safety Activities

Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 9th that from the 28th of last month to December 6th, it visited the Guri Fire Station, military units, and Guri Armed Forces Hospital to deliver a total of 5 million won in encouragement funds and to comfort the personnel.

This delivery of encouragement funds and visits to the military, fire station, and Armed Forces Hospital were arranged to commend the efforts of those contributing to national defense, citizen safety, and rescue activities during the year-end and New Year period.


Since 2012, Guri City has annually visited fire stations, military units, and others who work for citizen safety and local defense, delivering encouragement funds to support community safety.


Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City said during his visit to the Guri Fire Station on the 28th of last month, “During the 20 minutes I spoke with you, there were two emergency dispatches. I express my deep gratitude to the firefighters who are responsible for citizen safety on the front lines, and let us work closely together to make Guri City a better place to live.”
