'Jeju Happy Mileage Week' Phase 2 Underway
Economy 5000 Miles Deduction... Supply Until Year-End
Asiana Airlines will additionally supply 10,000 mileage seats on the Gimpo~Jeju route.
Asiana Airlines announced that from 9 a.m. on the 9th, it will hold the second phase of the 'Jeju Happy Mileage Week' event with this content.
Through this, mileage seats will be supplied for a total of 96 flights from the 16th to the 31st. Every day, ▲3 flights from Gimpo to Jeju ▲3 flights from Jeju to Gimpo, totaling 6 flights per day and 96 flights in total, are targeted. All remaining seats on these flights can be purchased with mileage tickets. Currently, there are about 10,500 remaining seats.
Business class tickets can also be purchased with mileage. The route is operated with the A321 aircraft, configured with 174 seats (business/economy) and 195 seats (economy).
For domestic mileage ticket purchases, one-way economy class requires 5,000 miles, and business class requires 6,000 miles. However, on the 25th and 31st of this month, a 50% additional deduction applies due to peak season. Meanwhile, since the promotion applies to paid tickets as well, part of a round-trip itinerary can be issued with mileage for one way, and the rest with other payment methods.
Previously, during the first promotion held from the 2nd to the 15th of this month, 56 flights were mostly fully booked, recording an average reservation rate of 98%.
An Asiana Airlines official stated, "We decided to expand the mileage flight promotion so that more Asiana Club members can use their mileage," adding, "With this additional promotion, a total of 152 flights on the Jeju route will supply up to 15,000 mileage seats throughout December."
