The 'Hyangnam Complex Cultural Center' was built with a total floor area of 7,253㎡, spanning from one basement floor to three above ground floors. After a temporary opening on the 28th of last month, it held the opening ceremony on this day and began official operations.

The center includes ▲ a library equipped with an augmented reality (AR) book zone ▲ an indoor swimming pool with 8 lanes of 25 meters each ▲ a shared childcare space for family cooperative activities ▲ and a Dahamkke Care Center responsible for after-school care for elementary school students. In particular, the library within the center is Hwaseong City's 20th public library. The library also introduced the 'Luca' robot reading service.

It is also notable that the building was constructed as an eco-friendly building minimizing energy consumption. The building is equipped with a 388 kW solar power generation facility, producing 60% of the required energy independently.

Mayor Jeong said, "The Hyangnam Complex Cultural Center is a state-of-the-art complex facility where a library, indoor swimming pool, shared childcare space, and Dahamkke Care Center harmonize in one space," adding, "We will strive to maintain the center well so that it can establish itself as a 'second living room' for citizens."
