Lee Jae-myung: "Han Deok-su and Han Dong-hoon, Destroying the Constitution... Acts of Second Rebellion"

"The ruling party is a clear accomplice in the rebellion"
"Presidential powers are not private property"
Impeachment of President Yoon to be re-pursued on the 14th

Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon for stating that they would jointly manage state affairs, saying, "The ruling party leader and the prime minister are once again destroying the constitutional order."

At a press conference held at the National Assembly on the 8th, Lee said, "Yoon Seok-yeol is hiding behind the scenes, using a group conspiring to commit insurrection to maintain a state of rebellion. This is a 'second insurrection act' with a changed face."

Lee emphasized, "The president's authority is not the personal property of President Yoon." He added, "Yoon Seok-yeol, the main culprit of the insurrection and military rebellion, must immediately resign or be impeached," and stated, "On the 14th, the Democratic Party will definitely impeach him in the name of the people."

He strongly criticized, "Our people elected Yoon Seok-yeol as president, not the ruling party as president," and questioned, "How can there be such a bizarre official announcement to temporarily step back from the second line and have the prime minister and ruling party leader jointly exercise presidential authority when the president has not even become incapacitated?"

Earlier, Lee claimed that the ruling party, which set its party stance to oppose the impeachment motion against President Yoon and walked out of the National Assembly plenary session causing the vote to fail, is "a clear accomplice to the insurrection."
