Bulkwangcheon Eungam Station to Saejeol Station Section
Operating daily from 5 PM to midnight until early April next year
Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is creating a special nightscape attraction called ‘Bulgwangcheon Starlight Street’ along the Bulgwangcheon stream from Eungam Station to Saejeol Station, offering residents a new winter night where art and culture harmonize.
‘Bulgwangcheon Starlight Street’ is themed as a starlight art museum, with various sculptures along the path by Bulgwangcheon expressing the stars in the night sky. Eunpyeong-gu provides residents with a unique cultural and resting space where art and light blend, allowing them to feel the starlight of the night sky through the creation of the Starlight Street.
The Starlight Street will be open until early April next year, with lighting hours from 5 PM to midnight daily.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “This ‘Bulgwangcheon Starlight Street Project’ is a valuable initiative to make the winter nights in Eunpyeong-gu even more special. I hope local residents and tourists enjoy a new cultural experience at the starlight art museum and fully appreciate the peaceful beauty that Bulgwangcheon offers.” She added, “We will continue to strive to create spaces where culture and art live and breathe.”
