"Urging the Reintroduction of the Opposition's Impeachment Proposal"
People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy (PSPD) stated on the 7th that the failure of the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol due to insufficient quorum was a result of "the People Power Party, accomplices in the insurrection who ignored the people's mandate, must be disbanded."

In a statement released that day, PSPD said, "Except for lawmakers Kim Sang-wook, Kim Ye-ji, and Ahn Cheol-soo, members of the People Power Party boycotted the vote, ignoring multiple appeals from National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik to participate in the vote itself," adding, "They willingly became accomplices in Yoon Seok-yeol's insurrection to extend their power."
PSPD emphasized, "The people no longer recognize Yoon Seok-yeol, who has undermined the democracy and constitutional order of the Republic of Korea, as the country's president," and urged, "Insurrectionist Yoon Seok-yeol should not confront the people and must immediately step down. The National Assembly should take measures again to hold Yoon Seok-yeol accountable under the constitution and law."
PSPD further stated, "The six parties must heed the citizens' mandate to remove the insurrection ringleader and reintroduce the impeachment motion. They should expedite the passage of a special investigation law for the insurrection crime," adding, "The prosecution, police, and other investigative authorities must not delay in investigating the insurrection acts and must immediately begin investigations to prevent evidence tampering, escape, and additional crimes."
