Yangsan-si Pyeongsan-dong Resident Autonomy Association, Sharing Love Kimchi-Making Event

The Pyeongsan-dong Residents' Autonomous Committee in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, held the 2024 Love Kimchi Sharing event over two days on December 5th and 6th.

At today's event, under the direction of the Pyeongsan-dong Residents' Autonomous Committee, kimchi seasoning was made on the 5th, and on the 6th, about 60 participants, including committee members and related organizations, mixed flavorful seasoning into 350 heads of salted napa cabbage, sharing warm kindness. Despite the cold weather, 180 boxes of lovingly prepared Love Kimchi were delivered to vulnerable neighbors such as elderly living alone and marginalized groups within Pyeongsan-dong.

Lee Jong-sung, chairman of the Residents' Autonomous Committee, expressed his thoughts, saying, “I am grateful to the related organizations that extended great love through small sharing so that our neighbors can have a warm winter. We will continue to strive to create a warm and friendly Pyeongsan-dong through sharing and volunteer activities for those in need.”
