Reaffirming the Importance of ESG
KOTRA announced on the 6th that it held the 'ESG Day Campaign' jointly with the labor union, the president, and the auditor.
KOTRA organized this campaign to remind employees of the importance of the ESG components?Environmental, Social, and Governance?and to strengthen KOTRA's commitment to sustainable management.

The joint labor-management-auditor ESG Day campaign included programs that can be practiced in daily life, such as certification activities using the 'Haenggarae' application to reduce carbon emissions in daily life, a safety and ethics management quiz competition, a survey to eradicate power harassment, and a KOTRA Integrity Song lyric guessing game. The fair trade ice cream made from globally ESG-certified raw materials received great enthusiasm from employees.
KOTRA designated this day as the 'Day of Respect and Consideration.' Through an employee survey, employees who actively practice respect and consideration were selected and awarded the 'KOTRA Respect and Consideration Ping.' To eradicate power harassment and establish a better communication culture, KOTRA also participated in the 'Society Without Verbal Violence' campaign together with employees.
Kang Kyung-sung, President of KOTRA, stated, "ESG management, which has emerged as a trend of the times, is an essential requirement for the sustainable growth of companies. We will continue to devote ourselves to public corporation operations based on the philosophy of ESG management and strive to promote sustainable management in the process of supporting our companies' global trade and investment."
