On this day, the agreement covered mutual cooperation not only in the exchange, manufacturing, and distribution of insect products, raw materials, and new products but also in export-related tasks. Furthermore, it included sharing breeding technologies for edible and pet insects, as well as overall matters related to the development, production, sales, and marketing activities of processed products.

Jeon Chang-hyun, Director of Technology Promotion, said, “Based on the principle of good faith, the Yeoju Insect Industry Promotion Research Association and the Jeju Insect Industry Cooperative will establish a close cooperative system, which is expected to be an opportunity to glimpse the future of the insect industry.”

Lee Eun-sang, Officer of Technology Promotion, stated, “To efficiently promote mutual cooperation between the two organizations, specific cooperation methods will be separately discussed and adjusted, contributing to a more stable and sustainable development of the insect industry.”
