Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 6th that on the 4th, Lee Hwa-young, head of the Agricultural Technology Center's Guidance Planning Team, was honored with the 'Technology Award' at the 2nd Park Deok-jun Agricultural Award hosted by the Rural Revival Hope Foundation.

On this day, the Park Deok-jun Agricultural Award was presented to nine members of the National Agricultural Technicians Association and two national agricultural officials. Lee Hwa-young, as the nation's top mushroom expert, was recognized for his major achievements and contributions and received the Technology Award.
The Park Deok-jun Agricultural Award was established to honor the late Park Deok-jun, founder of the Rural Revival Hope Foundation and chairman of Taehwa G&G, who created a hall for leading farmers and successor farmer education. This year marked the second event of the award, given to individuals who have contributed to the development of agriculture and rural areas.
Team leader Lee Hwa-young expressed his award acceptance remarks, saying, “Through workshops for agricultural technology dissemination, group fostering, and education, I will take pride and work even harder on-site to further develop agriculture in Yeoju City.”
