Dongducheon-si Successfully Hosts 'Medical Sharing Hope Concert' for Medically and Culturally Vulnerable Groups

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 6th that it held the '2024 Medical Sharing Hope Concert' on the 5th at the Lifelong Learning Center Eoullim Performance Hall, attended by about 250 people from medically and culturally vulnerable groups.

This event was hosted by Dongducheon City and the Dongducheon City Community Security Council, and organized by the Elderly Medical Sharing Foundation.


The event was designed to promote community integration and support for marginalized groups through disease prevention education and cultural performances targeting vulnerable groups who have difficulty accessing medical and cultural support.


The main program included a disease prevention education session for the elderly by a medical doctor, followed by a commemorative ceremony, health gymnastics, belly dance, and performances by popular singers, providing great enjoyment to the attendees.


Mayor Park Hyung-deok of Dongducheon City said, “I hope this event becomes a meaningful occasion that provides practical help and joy to medically and culturally vulnerable groups,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen the spirit of the local community and create valuable opportunities to share the value of medical care and culture.”
