Greenplus Signs 55.5 Billion KRW Smart Farm Contract... "Total Project Worth 81 Billion KRW"

This contract is a large-scale project worth 55.5 billion KRW, signed as the second phase following the first phase contract worth 25.3 billion KRW in September this year. Two zones, A and B, will be designed and constructed with state-of-the-art smart farms. This is the largest project since GreenPlus was founded and also the largest single smart farm project in Australia's history.

Previously, through the first contract, GreenPlus proceeded with the groundbreaking contract for a strawberry smart farm facility of about 5 hectares in the Toowoomba area of Queensland. With this second contract, an additional 10 hectares will be added in the Amiens area of Queensland, creating a mega smart farm complex totaling 15 hectares.

GreenPlus was awarded a commendation from the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in recognition of its active contribution to expanding exports in the agricultural industry along with this project. This is an external acknowledgment of GreenPlus’s achievements in leading smart farm technology development and global market entry. Together with this Australian project, it is becoming an opportunity to further solidify its status both domestically and internationally.

Additionally, GreenPlus secured distribution channels through cooperation with major investors and Australia’s largest agricultural product distribution company, Premier Fresh Australia. Stable construction is being promoted through close cooperation with the construction specialist company Engine Room. With this, GreenPlus has completed all preparations necessary to target the Australian market and is now driving market expansion.

Jung Soon-tae, CEO of GreenPlus, said, “This second contract is an achievement that further solidifies GreenPlus’s technological capabilities and reliability following the success of the first contract. We will successfully establish a 15-hectare smart farm complex, promote the excellence of K-smart farms worldwide, and accelerate the expansion of our market share in the global market.”
