The Democratic Party of Korea announced on the 6th that it may push for a vote on the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol at 5 p.m. on the 7th, two hours earlier than originally scheduled.
Park Seong-jun, the party's chief floor whip, said in an interview on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' on the same day, "We initially expected the vote to take place around 7 p.m., but we believe it should be done around 5 p.m."
Park explained, "The People Power Party is employing a significant delay strategy regarding the impeachment vote, so we are considering the possibility that the time could be pushed back."
