10-Qubit Performance Valued at $180 Million
Targeted for Delivery in the First Half of Next Year
Norma, a company specializing in quantum security and quantum computing (CEO Jeong Hyun-cheol), announced on the 5th that it has signed a purchase contract with Saudi Arabia's Light Vision IT to supply the latest full-stack quantum computers with more than 10 qubits. The contract amount is approximately $18 million (about 25 billion KRW).

The superconducting quantum computer ‘Qrion’ that Norma plans to supply by the first half of next year is currently in the final development stage with a performance of over 10 qubits, and detailed testing is underway. Qrion fully supports the ‘Q Platform’ for quantum program development and execution, as well as ‘Quantum AI (Q AI).’ Norma explained that the quantum computer supply contract with the Saudi company is the first case of a Korean company exporting a full-stack quantum computer overseas.
Separately from product exports, Norma attracted investment last August from Vertex Ventures, a subsidiary of Vertex Holdings, the Singapore sovereign wealth fund, marking the first investment in a Korean quantum company.
CEO Jeong Hyun-cheol stated, “Since quantum technology faces export restrictions in the US and China, we saw this as an opportunity for Korean technology to gain attention and aggressively expanded overseas business.” He added, “Next year, we will complete our pre-IPO and more actively promote quantum computer development and sales to establish ourselves as Korea’s leading quantum company.”
