American home appliance company SharkNinja's beauty brand SharkBeauty has expanded its lineup by launching a new version of its flagship product, the Shark FlexStyle. The new product features functions tailored to Korean women's needs, including taming frizzy hair and managing flyaways. SharkBeauty emphasized the importance of the Korean market and aims to continuously release products that meet market demands.


On the 5th, SharkBeauty held a launch event for the newly released Shark FlexStyle Air Styler HD434 at Lespas Etna in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Vivian Gu, President of SharkNinja Asia-Pacific, traveled from Singapore to Korea to deliver the presentation. She showed active engagement by staying throughout the event and closely observing the demonstrations.

President Vivian Gu stated, "Since its first launch in the U.S. in 2022, the Shark FlexStyle has gained popularity for its 2-in-1 function that allows quick drying and versatile styling in busy mornings." She added, "Over the past year, it has been recognized for its innovation and product quality as a premium hair styling tool, selling one unit every minute in the U.S."


She particularly emphasized the importance of the Korean market. Vivian said, "Korea has emerged as a core strategic and emerging market for SharkBeauty. The Korean consumers' demand for multifunctional hair devices, functionality, and premium design has been precisely met, allowing the FlexStyle to quickly establish itself in the Korean market."


She continued, "This new product upgrades drying performance and styling tools to suit the lifestyle and hair concerns of Koreans who are always pressed for time in the morning and often stressed about their hair. It will resonate well with Korean consumers who enjoy a sophisticated lifestyle."

The Shark FlexStyle Air Styler HD434 features enhanced power output of 1650W, stronger than previous models, delivering powerful drying performance. It measures temperature 1,000 times per second to maintain consistent airflow temperature, protecting hair from excessive heat damage. The styling tools allow for various styles from straight to volume and curls, and include attachments designed to tame frizz and manage flyaways. The main unit weighs 700g, making it lightweight. The price is 449,000 KRW.
