Daejeon Transportation Corporation Donates 16 Million Won to Help Neighbors

564 Employees Voluntarily Participate in Year-End and New Year Fundraising Campaign

Daejeon Transportation Corporation announced on the 5th that it had donated 16 million won, collected by executives and employees pooling their resources for the year-end and New Year season, to the Daejeon Community Chest of Korea.

The donation campaign, which began on November 20 to support marginalized neighbors in the local community and foster a spirit of sharing and hope, saw voluntary participation from 564 employees.

President Yeon Gyuyang stated, "As a public institution that has grown together with the local community, Daejeon Transportation Corporation participated with the hope of providing strength to neighbors in need," adding, "We will continue to spread a warm culture of helping hands to citizens through ongoing social contribution activities in the local community."

Since 2017, Daejeon Transportation Corporation has practiced sharing by participating in the annual Neighbor Love Fund campaign. In addition, leveraging its expertise, the corporation engages in technical volunteer work such as home repair talent donations for vulnerable groups, volunteering at welfare institutions, and fire prevention inspections at traditional markets in the old downtown area.
