Daejeon Youth Growth Project Wins Five Awards at Best Practices Contest Daejeon City achieved excellent results at the Ministry of Employment and Labor Youth Growth Project Contest Awards Ceremony. / Daejeon City

Daejeon City announced on the 5th that it received five awards in the Testimonial and Program Operation categories at the Youth Growth Project Best Practices Contest hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.


The contest was held to raise public interest in the new "Youth Growth Project" launched by the Ministry of Employment and Labor this year, and to share and spread the achievements of the project. Winners were awarded the Minister of Employment and Labor Award and prize money.


The Youth Growth Project supports job-seeking activities, mindfulness, and workplace adaptation through "Youth Cafes." Daejeon City, together with Dong-gu and Seo-gu, was selected for the 2024 project and is implementing the program for 4,385 local youths.


Kwon Kyungmin, Director of Daejeon City’s Economic Affairs Bureau, said, "The Youth Growth Project has become a driving force for local youths to regain confidence and maintain social activities," and added, "We will continue to pay attention and make efforts so that young people can actively participate in job-seeking and social life."
