The Hanam Archive project is an initiative to systematically and continuously collect, produce, and preserve records of Hanam, passing them down as future Hanam’s heritage.

This year, 75 writers participated and achieved the publication of 15 types of records, including "Drawing Hanam’s Time: Cheonhyeon-dong Edition," which directly documents the changing face of Hanam.

In addition to its own projects, it was selected for the "2024 Library Culture and Arts Club Activity Support" project hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Library and Culture Promotion Institute. Six writers participated to complete and publish six picture books.

Notably, this year’s archive project was enriched by the participation of 21 children who contributed to compiling a fantasy storybook and a neighborhood record book set in Hanam.

One child participant said, "I was happy to learn more about our neighborhood while participating in the Hanam Archive project," adding, "I want to thank Hanam City for giving me such a meaningful and enjoyable time that I did not want to miss a single day during the compilation process."

Mayor Lee Hyun-jae attended the publication commemoration and said, "I am pleased to see the birth of citizen writers who published excellent works recording and highlighting Hanam," adding, "The efforts to cherish and remember Hanam’s history will be the driving force for Hanam City to leap forward as a global K-Culture hub city."

Meanwhile, the original paintings included in "Drawing Hanam’s Time: Cheonhyeon-dong Edition" can be viewed in the lobby on the 1st floor of Misa Library until the 16th.
