What Are the Top News Stories in Gumi City This Year? Vote for the Top 10 News
Gumi City in Gyeongbuk Province is conducting a survey to select the 'Top 10 News' that citizens paid the most attention to this year.
The survey will be held on the city’s website for seven days from December 4 to 10, and anyone interested in Gumi city affairs can participate. Participation is available through the ‘Survey’ menu on the city’s homepage, and responses can also be easily submitted via a QR code.
This survey targets 30 candidates, including news that received focused media coverage or became a hot topic.
The Top 10 news candidates include △ Selection of projects linked to the semiconductor specialized complex △ Opening of Gumi+Neonatal Intensive Care Unit △ Hosting of Gumi’s representative festivals such as the Ramen Festival and Food Festival △ Operation of voucher taxis for transportation-vulnerable groups and K-mom taxis △ Opening of convenience stores for jobs △ Designation of Opportunity Development Zone and Education Development Zone △ Selection of the preliminary feasibility study project for the Gumi-Gunwi highway △ Establishment of DGIST Graduate School of Engineering at Gumi Campus △ Completion of wheat milling factory △ Expansion of Barefoot Trail △ Signing of rural agreements △ Hosting of the 62nd Gyeongbuk Provincial Sports Festival, among others.
Based on the survey results, the city plans to select the Top 10 news and announce them on the website on December 16.
