Moorim Paper announced on the 5th that it will unveil the ‘2025 Art Han Calendar’.
This New Year calendar, consisting of wall and desk calendars as well as specially designed postcards, was created in collaboration with Korean painting artist Ham Bo-kyung, who playfully depicts historical figures and modern elements to emphasize the role of paper in conveying ancient wisdom to contemporary people.
The characters featured in the calendar’s artworks wear hanbok while driving cars or playing tennis, breaking down the boundaries between tradition and modernity to refreshingly portray happiness in everyday life. The calendar uses ‘Artizen,’ a paper mainly used for sophisticated high-end prints such as exhibition catalogs, idol photo books, and brochures.
The tripod and envelope are eco-friendly, made with Moorim’s domestically unique low-carbon papers ‘Neostar Baeksang Shopping Bag’ and ‘Neostar Baeksang.’ The binding ring is also made from 100% natural pulp compressed paper rings, making recycling easy upon disposal. Additionally, a plant-based soybean oil printing method was applied during the printing process to enhance environmental protection values.
Moorim Paper plans to widely promote the value of paper by introducing the ‘2025 Art Han Calendar’ to the general public through an online event. In December, a limited quantity will be distributed free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis at the Naver Smart Store ‘Moorim Store,’ and participation requires only a 100 KRW donation for environmental causes.
