The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is providing customized incentives (benefits) to Good Price Businesses.
On the 5th, Suwon City announced that it will provide first aid kits to 139 Good Price Businesses that actively participate in price stabilization and revitalization of the local economy by the 11th of this month.
The first aid kits were selected as support items to help respond to emergencies such as burns caused by fires that may occur in businesses.
Earlier, last month, Suwon City provided customized incentives in the form of necessary items worth approximately 150,000 KRW per business, including kitchenware and cleaning tools, as well as waste volume-based garbage bags worth about 30,000 KRW.
Good Price Businesses are establishments that contribute to stabilizing local prices by offering services at prices lower than the regional average. They are designated by local governments based on the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s standards, comprehensively considering cleanliness, hygiene, quality, and service.
Currently, there are 139 such businesses in Suwon, including restaurants, beauty salons, and laundries. Business owners who wish to apply for the Good Price Business designation can prepare an application form and business registration certificate and submit them in person, by mail, or by email to the Suwon City Department of Regional Economy or the economic and transportation departments of each district.
A Suwon City official stated, "We hope that the customized incentive support will improve the operating environment of Good Price Businesses and help revitalize the local economy," adding, "We will continue to develop support measures so that Good Price Businesses can operate with pride."
