A woman in her 70s who attended a rally calling for the resignation of President Yoon Seok-yeol, who declared martial law, was arrested by the police for assaulting a passerby.

The Jongno Police Station in Seoul announced on the 4th that a woman in her 70s, identified as Ms. A, was booked on charges of assault.
Ms. A is accused of assaulting a woman in her 20s, Ms. B, at around 6:20 p.m. in front of Donghwa Duty Free Shop in Jongno-gu, Seoul, during the rally demanding President Yoon's resignation.
During the police investigation, Ms. A reportedly stated, "Ms. B was blocking the way, so I asked her to move, but when she did not, I hit her once."
