There will be rain or snow in some areas from the morning in southern Gyeonggi, northern Chungnam, and central to northern Chungbuk, and from night in northeastern Gyeonggi, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, and Jeju Island.
The expected precipitation over two days from the 5th is less than 5mm in northeastern and southern Gyeonggi, the five western islands, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, and Jeju Island; around 5mm in Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo. Expected snowfall amounts are less than 1cm in northeastern Gyeonggi, 1 to 3cm in southern Yeongseo of Gangwon and mountainous areas of Jeju, and around 1cm in central to northern Yeongseo of Gangwon.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -5 and 6 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius. For the time being, morning temperatures in most parts of the country will be below 0 degrees Celsius (below -5 degrees in inland northern Gyeonggi and inland/mountainous Gangwon), so caution is advised for health management. Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
