Selection of 10 Awardees in 5 Categories
The 3rd Korea Corporate Governance Awards Ceremony, co-hosted by the Korea Corporate Governance Forum and KCGI, was held on the 5th at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul.
At the ceremony, awards were presented to 10 recipients across 5 categories. The KB Financial Group Board of Directors received the Grand Prize in the economic sector, and Donghyun Kim, Vice President in charge of IR at SK Square, received the Innovator Award. In the capital market category, Chaewon Lee, Chairman of the Board at Life Asset Management, and Jonathan Pines, Head of Asia at Hermes in the UK, were selected as the Grand Prize and Innovator Award recipients, respectively. Hyunok Ha, Editorial Writer at JoongAng Ilbo, and Seokjae Jeon, CEO of the YouTube channel Shuka World, received the Grand Prize and Innovator Award in the media category. In academia, Seongin Jeon, Professor of Economics at Hongik University, and Hyoseop Lee, Financial Research Director at the Korea Capital Market Institute, received the Grand Prize and Innovator Award. In the political and legal category, Wooyoung Choi, Chairman of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants, received the Grand Prize, and Soyoung Lee, member of the Democratic Party of Korea, received the Innovator Award.
The Korea Corporate Governance Forum awarded each Grand Prize winner with a prize of 20 million KRW and a plaque, while each Innovator Award recipient received 10 million KRW and a plaque.
