The Joguk Innovation Party will hold an 'Impeachment Cafe' at the Gwangju 5·18 Democracy Square to call for the 'dissolution of the prosecution' and the 'impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol.'
Joguk, leader of the Joguk Innovation Party, announced on the 3rd that the 8th branch of the 'Impeachment Cafe' will open on the afternoon of the 6th at the 5·18 Democracy Square in front of the former Jeonnam Provincial Office in Dong-gu, Gwangju.
The 'Impeachment Cafe' began on the 2nd of last month in Daegu to promote the necessity of impeaching President Yoon Seok-yeol to the public. Since then, it has been operating while touring nationwide, including Mokpo, Seoul, Jeonju, Daejeon, Jeju, and Gimhae.
Through the 'Impeachment Cafe,' the Joguk Innovation Party plans to raise awareness about the need to impeach the Yoon administration by highlighting issues such as alleged investigation interference related to the death of Marine Corps member Chae Sang-byeong, the Deutsche Motors stock manipulation allegations, suspicions of luxury bag acceptance by First Lady Kim Geon-hee, preferential treatment allegations regarding the Seoul-Yangpyeong expressway, and interference in public office candidate nominations.
Seo Wang-jin, chairman of the Joguk Innovation Party's Gwangju City Committee, said, "Through the 'Impeachment Cafe,' the Innovation Party will continuously draw political participation and interest from the public and spread the spark of impeachment nationwide."
