Sharing the Progress Status of National Assembly Members' Campaign Promises Projects
Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jeon Jin-seon) announced on the 3rd that it held the 6th Party-Government Council of the 8th Civilian Administration with the People Power Party's Yeoju-si·Yangpyeong-gun Party Members' Council (National Assembly member Kim Seon-kyo) at the county office's main conference room on the 29th of last month.

About 50 people attended the Party-Government Council, including Governor Jeon Jin-seon, National Assembly member Kim Seon-kyo, Chairman Hwang Seon-ho of the Yangpyeong County Council, Provincial Assembly members Park Myung-sook and Lee Hye-won, Vice Chairman Oh Hye-ja, Council members Yoon Soon-ok, Song Jin-wook, Ji Min-hee, and other related officials.
At this meeting, they shared the progress of the National Assembly member's pledged projects and the status of handling cooperation proposals between Yangpyeong-gun and the National Assembly member. They exchanged opinions on 17 major pending projects in Yangpyeong-gun, including △ promotion of Semiwon as a national garden △ creation of a national ecological exploration trail from Yangsu-ri to Geobuk Island △ early promotion of the Yangpyeong-Seoul expressway, and discussed future promotion plans.
National Assembly member Kim Seon-kyo said, “We will actively cooperate with Yangpyeong-gun to check projects that need to be handled for the 12 towns and townships, work in harmony for the development of Yangpyeong-gun’s administration and the promotion of pending issues, and strive for the success of the 8th Civilian Administration.”
Governor Jeon Jin-seon stated, “We will promptly resolve pending issues directly related to residents’ lives through cooperation with the National Assembly member, Provincial Assembly members, and County Council members. I ask for continuous interest and cooperation so that the win-win cooperative system between the party and government is strengthened and that the pending issues and mid- to long-term projects facing Yangpyeong-gun can be smoothly promoted.”
The matters discussed at this council are expected to proceed to concrete implementation plans after practical review.
