In June, Namyangju City operated eight courses including acoustic guitar, drums, and vocals free of charge for three months for 80 local youths, using the support funds secured after the Youth Startup Center was selected as the ‘Best Youth Space in Gyeonggi.’ This provided young people with opportunities to express their passion and talents.

The performance sharing event was attended by about 50 people including youth students, their families, and acquaintances, and proceeded in the order of △ watching a performance video △ presenting gifts to perfect attendance students △ student performances.

In particular, performances by a total of 14 student teams in various fields such as ukulele, guitar, vocals, and drums were held, receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience.

A youth who participated in the performance said, “Through Youth Warak, we became one through music and I feel a great sense of accomplishment to be able to stand on a stage where we communicate and share learning.”

Mayor Joo Gwang-deok of Namyangju City said, “I hope the fruits of the musical passion and efforts shown through Youth Warak over the past three months will become a great driving force in your lives,” and added, “The city will continue to support and encourage the passion and challenges of young people so that they can realize their dreams.”
