Goryeong-gun, 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' Fundraising Drive

"Make Myself Valuable Through Donation, Make Goryeong Valuable"

Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk, is promoting the "Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign" fundraising under the slogan "Make Myself Valuable Through Donation, Make Goryeong Valuable!" for a happy Goryeong together through sharing ahead of the year-end and New Year holidays.

This campaign will be conducted for 62 days from December 1st to January 31st next year, targeting residents, social organizations, and businesses.

Goryeong-gun plans to hold a fundraising event at the outdoor plaza of the county office starting at 10 a.m. on the 4th, and donations of money and goods can be made in various ways through the Hope Welfare Team at the county office and the customized welfare officers in each eup and myeon.

The collected donations and goods will be used for various social welfare projects, including support for low-income households and emergency support for families in crisis.

County Governor Namcheol Lee said, "Thanks to the warm sharing of many residents last year, we greatly exceeded the target amount and were able to deliver love to more neighbors," and added, "This year as well, we ask for the active interest and participation of all residents in sharing for neighbors in need."

Last year, Goryeong-gun's fundraising achievement was 906.12 million KRW, achieving 187% of the target amount of 485.55 million KRW, and this year's fundraising target is 509.82 million KRW, a 5% increase.
