According to a report by Biz Hankook on the 2nd, Yoo Ah-in's Itaewon residence, which gained attention when it was featured on the 2020 MBC variety show 'I Live Alone,' was sold quickly last month for 6.3 billion KRW. The house, which featured a glass-walled kitchen and an indoor garden, impressed viewers at the time.

When Yoo Ah-in put the property on the market three years ago, he asked for 8 billion KRW. Since it was sold for 1.7 billion KRW less than the asking price, it appears the sale was a quick disposal.

The house was also reportedly sold as a violation building due to unauthorized extension. Yoo Ah-in installed windows on the first floor, expanding the area by 10.8㎡. Although Yongsan District Office issued a correction order in August 2017, the restoration has not been carried out for over seven years. Since the correction order and penalty fees have not been paid, the new owner must handle the restoration and fines. The new owner has not been identified as the ownership transfer registration has not been completed.

Previously, Yoo Ah-in was prosecuted for administering propofol 181 times from September 2020 to March 2022 and illegally purchasing sleeping pills under another person's name from May 2021 to August 2022. The first trial sentenced him to one year in prison, stating, "Considering the period, frequency, method, and quantity of the crimes, the nature of the offense is serious and there is considerable blame," and detained him in court.

The Seoul High Court Criminal Division 5 (Presiding Judge Kwon Soon-hyung, Judges Ahn Seung-hoon and Shim Seung-woo) announced at the third hearing held on the 28th of last month, "The next hearing is scheduled for 4:40 PM on the 24th, and the trial procedure will be concluded on that day." Considering that it usually takes about a month from the closing arguments to the verdict, Yoo Ah-in's second trial verdict is expected to be announced as early as the beginning of next year.
