Dongducheon-si Dementia Safety Center Distributes '2025 Dementia Safety Health Calendar'

The Dementia Safety Center of Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 2nd that it has produced 3,500 copies of the 2025 Dementia Safety Health Calendar containing information on dementia management projects and dementia prevention. It also stated that the produced calendars have been distributed since the 29th to eight administrative welfare centers, the Dongducheon-si branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association, and 27 dementia safety affiliated stores.

The 2025 Dementia Safety Health Calendar is wall-hanging type, with enlarged calendar paper and font size to enhance visibility for the elderly. In particular, the calendar includes comprehensive information about the Dongducheon-si Dementia Safety Center’s projects. The main contents include ▲ Introduction to the Dementia Safety Center ▲ Guidance on early dementia screening ▲ Dementia prevention rules ▲ Support services for dementia patients ▲ Dementia awareness improvement projects ▲ Missing prevention services for dementia patients.

Meanwhile, anyone in need of the health calendar can visit the Dongducheon-si Dementia Safety Center or the nearest administrative welfare center to receive it in person.

A representative of the Dementia Safety Center said, “Through the distribution of the 2025 Dementia Safety Health Calendar, we hope to improve negative perceptions of dementia and create a dementia-friendly environment, and we look forward to a 2025 filled with warm support for dementia patients and their families.”
