Yeoncheon-gun, 2025 Eco-Friendly Agricultural Materials Support Project Application and Registration

Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province announced on the 2nd that it is accepting applications for the ‘2025 Environmentally Friendly Agricultural Materials Support Project’ until the 30th to contribute to the preservation of the agricultural environment.

The Environmentally Friendly Agricultural Materials Support Project is a program aimed at improving environmental pollution issues and preserving the agricultural environment by using environmentally friendly agricultural materials.

The supported items are biodegradable mulch film and weed mats, with a subsidy rate of 50% based on 170 KRW per ㎡ for biodegradable mulch film and 320 KRW per ㎡ for weed mats (based on farmland area).

For biodegradable mulch film, organic-certified farms can only receive support for materials listed as organic agricultural materials, while pesticide-free certified and other general farms can receive support only for products certified by the Environmental Label in the Green Product Information System.

Farmers wishing to apply should submit an application form and, if applicable, a confirmation of payment for the eco-friendly mandatory self-imposed fund to the industrial team at the administrative welfare center of the jurisdictional eup/myeon where the farmland is located.

A county official stated, “We hope farmers will apply without fail for the Environmentally Friendly Agricultural Materials Support Project, which helps reduce the burden of eco-friendly capital costs and preserves a clean agricultural environment, and contribute to the preservation of the agricultural environment.”
