The Childcare Accompaniment Support Fund system will be implemented from January 2025. The eligible recipients are employees belonging to Hanwha Group's distribution and service divisions, including subsidiaries such as Hanwha Foodtech and Aqua Planet. The same amount will be paid for each childbirth regardless of the number of times, and families with twins can receive 20 million KRW.

This initiative goes beyond a simple congratulatory gift for childbirth; it reflects the company's intention to share the childcare burden experienced by employees, which is expected to significantly contribute to improving work efficiency. Recently, the government has also been greatly expanding support for families with newborns while encouraging corporate participation.

Kim Dong-seon, Vice President in charge of Future Vision at the two companies, stated, “Employees in dual-income families cited childcare issues as the biggest challenge in balancing work and family life,” adding, “The company's commitment to childcare accompaniment will not only stabilize employees' families and enhance work performance but also make a positive contribution to society.”

Hanwha's distribution and service divisions have recently continued various collaborations across multiple fields. Representative examples include jointly operating social contribution projects such as the support program for families with severely ill children 'It’s Okay to Take a Break' and 'Monthly Donation,' which started this year. In addition, they are working on service improvements that can enhance customer convenience and increase synergy between industries, such as ▲unifying uniforms for field employees and ▲cross-usage of points across business sites.
