Utilizing Gyeongin National University of Education's Excellent Resources to Improve Local Education Conditions
Developing Education Programs Tailored to Regional Characteristics and Operating University-Linked Programs

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced on November 29 that it signed a "Business Agreement for Expanding Educational Opportunities and Developing Education in the Local Community" with Gyeongin National University of Education (President Kim Chang-won) at the small conference room on the 9th floor of Geumcheon-gu Office.


This agreement ceremony was prepared to improve the local community's educational environment and provide better learning opportunities to residents through mutual cooperation between Geumcheon-gu and Gyeongin National University of Education.


At the agreement ceremony, the two institutions agreed to mutually cooperate on ▲allowing Geumcheon-gu residents to use university sports facilities (stadium), ▲developing and operating educational programs utilizing the university's human and physical infrastructure, and ▲creating school complex facilities using the human and physical resources of both institutions.

Kim Chang-won, President of Gyeongin National University of Education, said, “It is meaningful to establish a foundation where the university and the local community can cooperate and grow together,” adding, “Through this agreement, we hope to provide more educational opportunities to local residents and open a path for development together with the local community.”


Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “The agreement with Gyeongin National University of Education will greatly help improve the educational conditions of Geumcheon-gu by utilizing the excellent educational resources and facilities owned by the university,” and added, “We will strive to foster talents needed for the 4th Industrial Revolution and achieve virtuous cycle cooperation to strengthen regional competitiveness.”
