Married Female Teacher and Male Student Affair Accidentally Revealed
Chinese Authorities Suspend Teacher... "Serious Matter"
A married female teacher in China shocked many when messages exchanged with a male student involved in an affair were projected onto a large screen in the classroom.
On the 29th, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP) and local media reported on a recent incident at a vocational school in Qinyuan County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, China.
During class, online chat messages were projected onto the screen at the front of the classroom. This happened because teacher Jang did not log out of her WeChat account before using the computer connected to the classroom projector. WeChat is a mobile messenger app by Chinese IT company Tencent.
Unaware of this, students turned on the projector screen for the lesson, revealing chat messages between Jang, a married woman with one daughter, and a teenage male student to the entire class.

Furthermore, the messages were spread online by some students who took photos of the screen, causing a major controversy.
According to the chat logs, the male student, estimated to be between 15 and 18 years old, called Jang "honey." When Jang expressed difficulties in her married life, the student said, "Don't do anything for your husband. Even though you are married, I am jealous that you have done something for him."
When the student said, "I will always love you," Jang replied, "I will always love you too. As long as you don't leave me, I won't leave either."
Local media reported that Jang was recently selected as an "exemplary teacher."
After the incident became public, the vocational school where Jang works stated, "We are taking this matter very seriously" and began a detailed investigation into the circumstances.
Subsequently, on the 22nd, the local education bureau suspended Jang from her duties and is continuing with further investigations.
