A major traffic accident causing damages of approximately 10 billion KRW occurred in Austria. Four supercars including Ferrari, McLaren, and Bentley collided.
On the 28th (local time), The Sun and other media reported on a traffic accident that occurred around 2:40 PM on the 10th near a sharp curve on a mountain road close to Punts in Tyrol, Austria.
At the time, a Ferrari 812 Superfast (?447,000, about 800 million KRW) was following a LaFerrari (?4 million, 7.1 billion KRW) and collided with it. Subsequently, a McLaren Elva (?1.4 million, 2.5 billion KRW) and a Bentley Continental GTC (?192,000, 340 million KRW) crashed one after another.

The LaFerrari suffered the most severe damage, while the front part of the Ferrari 812 Superfast was damaged. The Bentley and McLaren were reportedly not noticeably damaged. The total value of the supercars involved in the accident amounts to ?6 million (about 10 billion KRW).
The media reported that there were no casualties from this accident, and the drivers were from the Swiss canton of Graub?nden, aged between 40 and 52.
According to the accident details, the Ferrari Superfast was closely following the LaFerrari and collided when it failed to notice the LaFerrari slowing down at the sharp curve. Then, the McLaren Elva behind crashed into the stopped LaFerrari and Ferrari, and finally, the Bentley Continental GTC also collided.
The police stated, "One of the drivers braked suddenly because their view was obstructed by sunlight shining from behind." The police are investigating detailed causes of the accident, including whether a safe distance was maintained.
This chain collision involving four supercars has become a hot topic on social media (SNS) as photos spread widely. Netizens reacted with surprise, calling it "the most expensive traffic accident in the world."
