Seoul Metro Completes 6-Month Activities of the 8th University Student Ddota Supporters

23 Outstanding Content-Creating University Students Selected in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, Active in 6 Teams
Creating Content and Communicating via SNS to Improve Civil Complaints and Spread Positive Image of the Corporation

Seoul Metro announced on the 29th that it held the ‘8th University Student Ttota Supporters Closing Ceremony’ and concluded six months of official activities.


Seoul Metro recruited the 8th University Student Ttota Supporters from May 2024, targeting university students in the metropolitan area who are highly interested in urban rail and proficient in using SNS, and officially started activities in June.


The supporters’ activities involved a total of 23 university students divided into six teams, carrying out tasks such as ‘promoting the company’s service improvement achievements,’ ‘experiencing the company through tours of the vehicle depot,’ and ‘creating FAQs for frequent subway complaints.’


This 8th University Student Ttota Supporters’ activities improved on shortcomings from previous groups. The focus shifted from individual activities to team activities to enhance the level of assignments, and by linking online and offline activities, they attempted to diversify content, showing remarkable results.

In particular, short-form content (Reels) related to the Gunja Vehicle Depot tour gained popularity with 157,000 views and 699 likes.


Offline activities such as the Gunja Vehicle Depot tour, participation in the campaign for consideration of pregnant women conducted at Dongjak and Gongdeok Stations, and experiencing stations with foreign language simultaneous interpretation services were produced as SNS content for promotion, thereby expanding opportunities for citizens to directly participate in company events.


At the closing ceremony, the supporters reflected on their six months of activities by sharing achievements and presenting impressions, and time was taken to award certificates of activity and recognize outstanding teams.


Ma Hae-geun, Head of the Sales Division at Seoul Metro, said, “Through the university student Ttota Supporters who are skilled in SNS use, we had an opportunity to inform citizens about the company’s achievements and efforts in a friendly manner,” adding, “Next year, we hope to further activate the university student Ttota Supporters’ activities to strengthen the company’s positive image and serve as a turning point to improve inconvenient complaints.”
