Goryeong-gun Holds Resident Briefing Session on Cadastral Resurvey Project

Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Lee Nam-cheol) will hold the '2025 Cadastral Resurvey Project Resident Briefing Sessions' at village halls in six project districts subject to the cadastral resurvey project.

The resident briefing sessions will begin on November 28 in Yeri 2 District and continue until the end of December. They are organized to explain the necessity of the project, the details of the implementation plan, and the project promotion procedures to landowners and stakeholders in the project districts, and to collect their opinions.

The 2025 cadastral resurvey project covers six districts, comprising 943 parcels of land totaling 369,296㎡. The project will be carried out over two years with national funding support of approximately 160 million KRW.

After the resident briefing sessions, with the consent of more than two-thirds of the landowners, cadastral resurvey measurements and boundary consultations will be conducted, followed by the finalization of new boundaries through the review and resolution of the Boundary Determination Committee.

The county expects this resurvey project to greatly contribute to resolving disputes among landowners, increasing land use value, and protecting property rights.

A county official stated, “Since more than two-thirds of all landowners must agree to proceed with the project before applying for the project district designation to Gyeongsangbuk-do, we ask for the cooperation of landowners in submitting their consent forms for district designation so that the cadastral resurvey project can be promoted.”
