Seoul National University announced on the 29th that Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim met with Seoul National University President Yoo Hong-lim and delivered a special lecture.

According to Seoul National University, Prime Minister Ibrahim visited the Asia Center at Seoul National University on the 26th, met with President Yoo, and gave a special lecture titled "Strategic Partnerships in a Complex World: Malaysia, Korea, and the Future of Asia." Approximately 120 attendees, including Seoul National University students, Malaysian international students, and domestic Southeast Asia experts, participated in the event.
In his lecture, Prime Minister Ibrahim emphasized that "strategic partners Korea and Malaysia should cooperate with each other in the future of Asia while upholding the values of democracy."
On the same day, President Yoo introduced the key projects of the National Future Strategy Institute, established in 2022 to present national strategies and future visions, and Prime Minister Ibrahim expressed great expectations for cooperation with major Malaysian universities and research institutions.
